A Simple Fall Tablescape

Hey y’all! Today I’m excited to share a simple fall tablescape! I love dressing up our table when we have people over, but it doesn’t have to be complicated and expensive to do so. My favorite thing about this project was I didn’t have to buy anything new! I “shopped” around my house and found everything I needed for this cozy design.

Going into this tablescape design, the only piece I knew I wanted to use was my blanket scarf. I thought it would add a cozy texture and color. Because I currently don’t own any fall tablecloths or runners, I was forced to get creative. My scarf was bought from a friend, but I’ve linked a similar style here. I added woven chargers that were used at our rehearsal dinner (similar linked here). I found my neutral octagon plates from Anthropologie. I’ve possibly developed a slight obsession with finding dinnerware in their sale room πŸ™‚ The exact style I purchased has been discontinued, but I found a similar style here. Lastly, I added a basic cloth napkin from Target to add more texture to the table. As a centerpiece, I repurposed a wreath around a pumpkin to keep things simple and to add an element of nature.

Our Farmhouse Table

While I’m sharing a dining room tablescape post, I have to take a second to brag on my dad. Shortly after we moved into our home last fall, I started dreaming about having my own farmhouse table. After a quick internet research session, I concluded they were way out of my price range and it probably wasn’t going to happen. I came across a farmhouse table and bench tutorial from Shanty 2 Chic, and I showed it to my dad. In a matter of months, he made my dreams come true. Thanks to my little brother for helping out too-we couldn’t have done it without him! I am so proud of this piece of furniture, and I can’t wait to make memories for years to come around this table.

If you want to create your own tablescape, try looking around your house before going out to buy new items! I love repurposing items in new ways, such as my scarf and wreath in this design. Who knows, you may already have everything you need for a cozy fall tablescape!
