Hey friends! Happy Thursday! I’m excited to share my first free printable on the blog today! Fun fact about myself: one of my favorite things to do is dream up party themes. Kind of silly, I know, but I’ve got a list of potential parties to throw that’s a mile long! Just to give you a peek into my heart and soul, here’s a few from the list:
- Derby Party (but only after I’ve collected enough Derby glassware 🙂 )
- Galentine’s Day
- 90’s themed throwback party
- Cinco de Mayo (I may or may not already be collecting potential decorations for this…)
- Backyard Movie Night
Honestly the list goes on and on. And as much as I enjoy actually hosting the parties, I think half the fun for me is in the planning. I love thinking through details, menus, decorations, and everything that makes a party a memorable experience. To help with this, I’ve created a Party Planning Printable! Read on to see how it could help you, and to download your own copy!
Party Planning Printable: What’s On It?
The top of the planner includes places for you to define both the occasion and theme, as well as date, time, and location. One of my favorite things about the planner is the side by side menu/grocery list and decor/shopping list boxes. Before using this planning guide, I tended to go through about 50 post it notes, lose half of them, and then start the process all over again. I love that this printable helps keep things organized and all in one place!
On the bottom of the page I’ve included a section for activities and favors/prizes. Depending on what type of party you’re throwing, these boxes could vary in importance. No matter the party’s occassion, I like to think of a few interactive things for my guests to do. For example, at Rachel’s Spring Bridal Brunch we had a create your own flower crown station. At my Cookie Madness Party, I provided brackets for everyone to vote on their favorite cookies! I think these little details help make the party memorable and fun for everyone!
You can download your own copy of my Party Planning Printable by clicking the link below! Right now I’m using it to plan a Parks and Rec themed “Treat Yo Self 2017” party…be on the lookout for a recap in the upcoming weeks! If you use this printable, I would love to hear about what you’re planning!
